Engaged Leader Testimonials

“After participating in the Engaged Leader Series, I feel like it opened up some space for playfulness in my work life. I would highly recommend Rachel for Leadership Development as she approached leadership by addressing the underlying emotional reasons that make leadership difficult and created a supportive space within the group”

Anna Semple, Missoula City County Health Department

“I feel more confident in my leadership abilities and have more “go-to” skills that will help me and the team go in the right direction. I enjoyed Rachel’s enthusiasm and extensive resources and would definitely recommend her because she understand leadership and people and knows how to get people to talk honestly”

Catherine Wightman, Coordinator,  Northern Great Plains Joint Venture

I have a relatively new leadership role and after the leadership workshops with Rachel, I got some new resources, articles and tools to better frame and understand leadership and build skills”

Montana James, Deputy Director Missoula City Community Development

What to expect from the Engaged Leadership Series?

Rooted in proven, evidence-based leadership development practices, this series offers the most important takeaways from Rachel’s 25 years of experience as a consultant and licensed clinical social worker. Learn emotional intelligence, behavioral science, and neuroscience in an experiential interactive process that will help you develop your own style and bring out the best in others.

The value we co-create:

  1. Self-knowledge and specific goals. You’ll meet one-on-one with Rachel for a personal coaching session to explore your vision for leadership, possible barriers, and ways to overcome them. Then you’ll work individually and with the group to create 1–2 focused goals for our time together.

  2. Support and accountability. Three months of LIVE peer group sessions are your regular space to workshop challenges, share your wins, face your fears, learn new skills, and receive feedback. As facilitated by Rachel, you gain a personal think tank of advisors and champions to transform what you do and how you do it.

  3. A cheerleader in your corner. You have two more one-on-one coaching sessions and access to Rachel throughout the series as a resource to achieve your identified goals. Whenever you try something new or simply feel vulnerable, she’s there for you!

  4. Partnership and practice. Between group and coaching sessions, you get a leadership partner to talk through what you’ve learned and practice new skills with one another.

You will have online access to recordings of all group sessions, plus the resources, tools, and best practices we cover. That way, you can be fully present rather than feverishly taking notes. These resources are yours for life!

  • Identifying your leadership style

  • Learning how to lead with your values

  • Mentoring your best team

  • Engaging others with empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence
