Do you get compliments often?

I always look forward to the day when I  write my newsletters and hear back from people what they found interesting!

Something else I think you should know?

You are doing an amazing job! Your dedication and hard work to become the best leader possible is truly admirable, and I want to make sure you know that your efforts are not going unnoticed.

I know that might feel a little silly to read, but it’s true. You’re working really hard to make a difference and I see that.

Now, onto some exciting news!

I’ve been spending time on the internet looking for things that I think will be really beneficial to you. I'm all about finding ways to make your life easier and I'm confident that these two things I've found will do just that.

So, without further ado, here they are!

Difficult Conversations Help

One of the biggest questions I get from people  is regarding how to have difficult conversations. Often conversations are challenging because people have differing points of views. Here is the four-step "receptiveness recipe" from Deloitte Center of Ethical Consulting that will help you when you find yourself in a disagreement.

Can I give you some feedback?

Whenever I hear the phrase, “Let me give you some feedback” I immediately assume someone is about to tell me that I did something wrong. Uugh! My mind automatically replaces the word “feedback” with “criticism. But there are big differences between feedback and criticism.  Here is a great article to help you deliver feedback that helps people, rather than scares them.

Feedback is Purposeful, Criticism is Personal.

Lastly, don’t forget you’re amazing and I believe in you!
